the problem with blogging

I guess I never realized that keeping a blog would have the repercussions that it has had.
Repercussions, such as

People get mad for what you say
People get mad for what you don't say
Everyone knows everything about your life
......and I mean everything
including people that you don't necessarily know all that well
or people that you used to know but now you really don't
and you don't necessarily want them knowing every grueling detail of your life
But one of the worst parts about blogging is having your family read your blog
It's nice, to a degree, don't get me wrong
but when your family knows every little thing about what's going on in your life?
When your uncle makes fun of some of the things you say in your blog?
When your family suddenly starts hounding you about going on a mission because you've been mentioning it a lot recently?
It's kind of a lot of pressure
Especially when you don't even know if you necessarily agree with everything your religion teaches
Seriously, I appreciate all of the words of encouragement and the beautifully written emails and the testimony bearings right and left
but it's kind of a huge decision and I don't exactly want to make that decision right this second
...ya know?
... maybe "hounding" is the wrong word.
But I'm still feeling the pressure
......ya know?



Just thoughts. It's my own fault
I'm the one who keeps talking about it
But it's my blog
It's where I put down my thoughts
