So, yesterday was a rather eventful day. I'd rather write about it in list form, though.
10:00 AM - 1:30 PM: Donating Plasma.
1:45 PM - 5:00 ish PM: Katy & David- first dam, rockband, tim tams, seagulls and duck rape.
5:30 ish - 10:00 PM: Scotty drove up to Cache Valley to see me. :)
Alright, story time. I decided just that little list isn't sufficient. It doesn't tell everything that happened.
Donating plasma. Well? I need the money. I have to pay for my luggage for my flight. So I made an appointment and headed over to the Biomat Plasma Center. Whilst in the lobby waiting for my turn, a boy sitting next to me complimented my red bag.
He said he had a similar one, and I asked him if his had sequins on it, too. We also talked about my new job at Disneyworld. All in all, it was a nice conversation and he seemed like a nice--but kind of awkward guy. He introduced himself as Jesse. Then I had to go, because they called my name. Anyway. He finished donating before I did, since technically I was a first-time donor (because the last time I'd donated was August of '09), they had to give me a physical exam. As he was leaving he handed me a half sheet of lined paper with a note scribbled on it.
It says, "I doubt you'll have much of an issue landing Sleeping Beauty. Seems you're just right for it. If you're free later tonight, I would love to hear more about it. My mommy would be super proud if I had dinner with a princess. -Jesse (phone number) text away."Well obviously I had a billion plans yesterday. so I told him I couldn't. But I guess I'm going on a date with him tonight... I don't know. He reminds me alot of Ben, and I think I can only handle having one of those in my life. So tonight should prove interesting. I need to figure out a back-up plan, and escape plan, just in case.
I then hurried home and changed into my new colorful polka-dot bikini, tank top and shorts and went with Katy and David. We stopped at Wal-Mart for Tim-Tams and Sobes. (etc.) We then headed for First Dam, and we layed out in the... er... sun. Or lack thereof. It was still nice. We listened to a lot of Beatles music and watched some ducks, well, essentially raping another duck. It was grand. One thing I LOVE about these two: rabbling out the car window at unsuspecting pedestrians. It is so fantastic. We saw Todd, briefly, but he claimed to be "sick." Uh huh.
Then I ran home, cleaned my room like a cleaning tornado banshee, changed my clothes and fixed my makeup. Scotty came over and I showed him my home, he met my family, etc. We hopped in the car and drove around town all evening. He'd been saying he wanted to come see my home here for a good long while now, but never did... this was kind of our last chance before I leave for Orlando on Thursday and he leaves for a mission in the fall. I showed him my high school, two of my parks, the temple, my spot with the bridge and the swing, and we drove up Smithfield Canyon, among other things. Oh, the memories, and how they flood back when triggered by a sight or a smell. It's incredible. We held hands. He played my (itty bitty) guitar for a while and then he had to go, as to not get home too terribly late. None of his family knew where he was. :) I walked him to his car and we kind of stood there awkwardly for a bit, then we kissed. :)

Oh, I don't know. This seems to complicate things... I mean, this is a terrible time to be getting attached. Like, this is worse timing than when Miah and I started dating. I'm leaving in TWO DAYS... I just... I don't know. I guess I figure we'll cut the romantic crap and carry on as usual, though text, facebook, etc and when he leaves we'll correspond through letters... but I'm not waiting for him. I'm never waiting for anyone. I just don't think that works. I figure I'll just let things run their course and just see what happens naturally.
My mom REALLY wants me to marry him. Gah.

I love us :) and that picture. let me know how your potentially awkward date turns out :)
