I've had a request for a new post.
Sorry, I've been kinda crazy and stressed, and I got a new journal that I've been breaking in, so I haven't been giving the blog any love. I think, for the most part, I have things all figured out...
I put in my two weeks at Durango's yesterday. My official last day of work is Thursday, December 16th.
From December 17th to the 19th Grant, his family, his galpals from home and I are road trippin' it to L.A. to see Next to Normal. When we get back, I may spend a couple of days with them, I don't know. It's a thought that Grant and I toyed with the other day but didn't come to a conclusion about.
After that... well, the tentative plan is that I'll be able to fit all of my things in space bags and pack up my little Buick (which has a monster of a trunk, by the way) and get home by December 22nd. If everything doesn't fit, my roommates said it was cool if I left a couple of things and came back for them later.
Also, I've finally settled on the name Sir Winston Mortimer James for my car. But he goes by Mortimer.
When I get to Logan, I'll be able to sign up for an institute class with Brother Krebs and a mission prep class. If they're doing Hairspray at Cache Regional, I have a kickin' audition piece and they'll have to put me in.
Grant's farewell is on the 16th of January, so I'll come back for whatever I left behind at that time.
Scotty's farewell is on the 23rd.
I've filled out my application for Hobby Lobby in Logan, I just need to go turn it in.
Ashley says she's getting married next November. I have no idea how to react to this. I'm in shock, awe, I'm so happy for her, I'm a worried mess, I'm excited for her... I don't know.
THE OTHER DAY I DISCOVERED DR. PEPPER WITH COCONUT FLAVORING.
OH.
MY.
GOSH.
Well here's my coffee substitute. I've gone to Swig like, eight times this week. I hope they have something similar somewhere up north.
This week I:
1. Filmed a scene with Grant for our friend Trey's film festival entry
2. Rehearsed (a few times) for Grant's Directing project scene
3. Went to Las Vegas to see The Rainbow Company's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
4. Got lost in Las Vegas, twice
5. (and today I will) film two episodes of a mini-youtube-series called "Judgement Seat."
Anyway, that's about all for now, I suppose.
I'm going home.
