unplugged: day 1

I'll admit. This is a challenge. A major challenge.
But at the same time, not being tied down by my addiction to Facebook and my Crackberry is really quite liberating.

Today, instead of spending time on Facebook, I did a few things that, for myself, were out of the ordinary.

I baked cookies.
I read an entire book. (given, it was a Post Secret book. So a lot of pictures.)
I talked on the phone with five people.
I gave said cookies as an apology to the boy I fought with last night.

What I did today to make myself feel more alive:

1. I bought the new issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine.
2. I wore a green flip-flop on my right foot, and a purple flip-flop on my left.
3. I tried on galoshes at Wal-Mart.
4. I wore a big, bright yellow flower in my hair.
5. I showered while chewing a piece of bubble gum.
6. I shaved my right leg, but not the left (in honor of No-Shave November).

  1. If you get bored, let me know...it'd be cool if we could hit Starbucks together or something :)
