day 20 - your views on drugs and alcohol.

Okay first of all it's good to know that of the 21 followers Blogger tells me I have, three of you actually read it. And one of the comments I received was anonymous, so I'm just gonna bump that number right back down to two. So, to my dear two-and-a-half followers, thank you. Thank you for your love and interest in my life.

ANYWAY.
Today's topic is drugs and alcohol. The answer is simple.
I don't care if you do it. I'm not going to judge or condemn you in any way. Some of my closest friends drink. I just claim my title as the designated driver from the very beginning. And usually they're happy with that.
I have no interest in alcohol. I tasted it once and it was GROSS. And I decided I would never touch it again. And drugs? That just scares me. I've seen too many studies on people who ruin their bodies and minds... not to mention their lives, with drug (and alcohol) abuse.
I won't lie and tell you I'm not curious as to just what all the hype is about, but the cons weigh out the pros every time I contemplate doing it.
So that is that.

Now on to the next item of business, it has come to my attention that my post entitled "raison d'etre" offended some individuals, and I just wanted to extend my formal apology to them. I'll make it up to you in a later post, I promise.



all in all, it's been a pretty grand weekend. Katy and her roommate Dani came down to St. George to see me, and ----

"Easy A" (which, by the way, is a brilliant movie)

yelling at all the people on the sidewalks. (including missionaries)
orange peel smoothies
buying more finger paints
cafe rio
observing jimmy and chad rowing a canoe around the pool
dixie rock
(I went to work for close to 7 hours today)
driving around a bit
a walmart trip

you can't hit someone's eye with a towel and make it fall out


and that about sums it up. fantastic weekend. I don't know what we're doing tomorrow, but I'm sleeping in and that's final.
